Work Release (Huber)
Pine County Jail offers a Work Release program for qualified sentenced inmates to maintain employment and education during incarceration. If you work within two hours of the jail and meet other qualifications a sentencing judge can authorize you to serve your sentence with Work Release (Huber) privileges.
To enroll in Work Release, complete a Work Release Application Packet and provide it to the Pine County Jail no less than 10 days before your report date. You can download and print or get a packet at the jail. Failure to provide a completed packet at least 10 days prior to report date can result in a delay of your Work Release privilege.
When you report to jail you will need to bring $200 cash to begin the Work Release Program. Prior to starting the program, you will be required to pay for a drug screen.
Other fees may include:
• Huber Enrollment Fee - $30
• Weekly Huber Fee - $84
• UA - $20
• GPS Monitor (if applicable) - $15 (per day)
• Booking fee (if applicable) - $20
• Any outstanding balance from a previous incarceration
The jail will supply your clothing, bedding and hygiene items. All other personal property will be inventoried and stored for you. Please bring a minimum amount of personal property. You are allowed to bring three (3) sets of clothes (including the set you wear into the jail). If you require presciption medication, you must bring a current bottle of medication appropriately labeled.
