Pine County Law Library
Dedicated in 2003 as The Honorable George E. Sausen Memorial Law Library
The Pine County Law Library is located on the second floor of the Pine County Courthouse, 635 Northridge Drive, NW, Suite 300, Pine City, Minnesota and is open and available to the public Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Pine County does not have a law librarian on staff. If you need assistance, a Minnesota State Law Librarian is available to assist you (in accordance with Minn. Stat. § 134A.16) and can be reached by phone (651-296-2775 or 1-800-627-3529) or by email at (askalibrarian@courts.state.mn.us). The Pine County Law Library is funded with fees assessed in civil and criminal court matters. No State, City or County taxes are used to fund the Law Library.

- Our hardbound collection includes primary source materials, secondary research sources, and a self-help section with informational booklets and pamphlets.
- Westlaw, Westlaw Next and an online tutorial are also available on the Law Library’s computer.
- Other resources available include Attorney General Pamphlets covering a range of topics, and Education for Justice Fact Sheets covering Housing, Government Benefits, Immigration, Taxes, Consumer, Family, Youth and Senior issues which can be found in the cabinets outside of the courtrooms.
- A laser printer/copier is also available for your use free of charge.
