Marriage certificates are administered either certified or uncertified from the county where you applied for your license.
If you did not apply in Pine County, contact the County Registrar where you did apply. If you are unsure whether you applied for your license in Pine County, please call our office and we can check on it for you.
HOW TO OBTAIN A COPY:
- A Marriage Certificate Request form (download below) needs to be completed and either brought in or mailed to our office for processing. We do not process requests through the internet or by fax.
- If you mail your request, make your check or money order payable to "Pine County Recorder."
- The fee is $9 per copy, certified or uncertified.
- WE ACCEPT CASH, CHECK OR CREDIT CARDS.
Search online for a marriage certificate filed within the State of Minnesota. You can search this website (https://www.moms.mn.gov/ ) by county, bride or groom's name, and date of marriage. The site identifies which county is the official custodian of the record based on where the couple applied for their license. Questions and concerns about specific records should be directed to the custodial county.
