The East Central Drug and Violent Offenders Task Force was recently formed in the beginning of 2012 and is made up by a partnership between three Minnesota bordering county jurisdictions; Chisago County, Pine County, and Isanti County. TheEast Central Drug and Violent Offenders Task Force serves a population of approximately 121,000 residents and encompasses an area of over 2,300 square miles. The task force works in coordination with many local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. The East Central Drug and Violent Offender Task Forceis highly focused on investigating the trafficking of narcotics, gang activities, and other criminal violence.
