CARES Act Grants Available to Non-Profit Businesses

Pine County non-profits impacted by COVID-19 can apply to receive financial assistance to help with expenses and lost revenue due to the pandemic.

Grants will be provided to non-profit businesses financially impacted by the pandemic and reimburse direct costs and lost revenue up to $5,000 per business. Expenses must be related to responding to the COVID 19 pandemic. Eligible expenses include physical modifications to continue operations, hardware and software purchases, disinfecting/sanitation supplies, and similar expenses. Additionally, up to three months of rent/mortgage/utility payments and lost revenue can be reimbursed.

To be eligible, non-profits must be recognized as a 501 (c)(3), (c)(4), or veterans organization as defined by the IRS. The organization must also have a physical presence in Pine County.

The program is being administered by Pine County with assistance from the Initiative Foundation.

The application period will be open at 8:00 a.m., September 8 and close at 10:00 p.m., September 30.

CARES Act Grants Available to Help Small Businesses

Pine County small businesses impacted by COVID-19 can apply to receive financial assistance to help with expenses incurred during the pandemic. 

Grants will be provided to businesses financially impacted by the pandemic and reimburse direct costs up to $10,000 per business.

Businesses, including non-profit organizations which operate business-type enterprises, located within Pine County with 50 or fewer employees are eligible to apply.

The application period will be open at 8:00 a.m., September 16 and close at 10:00 p.m., September 30.
