The Pine County Planning and Zoning Department is responsible for the administration of land use, building, and on-site sewage treatment systems in parts of Pine County. We also administer county-wide Shoreland Zoning.
Shoreland Zoning applies to all land within 1,000 feet of a lake, 300 feet of a river or stream, and the landward extent of the 100 year floodplain.
